By keeping the finished product in the cold for a short time, the dough will fix its shape and securely hold the filling. It is more convenient to cut its ingredients into long strips. Each serving of roll can be decorated with a slice of pickled carrots, garlic or peeled sour apple.

Ingredients

  • chicken breast - 1/2 pcs.
  • pickles - 2 pcs.
  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch
  • lavash - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil - 1–2 tbsp. l.

Preparation

1. For one roll, half a chicken breast will be enough. The first thing you need to do is marinate it. In our recipe, the chicken is marinated in ground pepper and salt. Rinse the breast, trim off excess fat and sprinkle with spices on all sides. Leave on the kitchen counter for about 15-25 minutes to allow the meat to absorb the spices.

2. Marinated breast can be baked in the oven or fried in a frying pan. We suggest using a grill pan. Grease it with vegetable oil and heat it well. Fry the breast on both sides until golden brown over high heat, about 5-8 minutes on each side. Cool the fried chicken.

3. As for cucumbers, you can use not only salted, but also pickled or pickled - the main thing is that they are not empty inside. Cut them into cubes or strips.

4. Wash and dry the parsley. Remove thick stems. Slice.

5. Hard-boil the eggs, peel and chop on a coarse grater.

6. Cut the cooled chicken breast into thin cubes.

7. Grease a sheet of lavash measuring 30 × 40 cm with a small amount of mayonnaise or cooked sour cream sauce. Distribute the greens. It can be not only parsley, but also dill, basil, celery.

8. Add grated egg and chopped cucumbers.

9. Distribute the chicken pieces.

  • half a sweet pepper;
  • salt, pepper, mayonnaise.

  4. 4. Chop cucumbers, tomatoes and herbs.

Instead of mayonnaise, you can use classic shawarma sauce in combination with ketchup. It is prepared from 150 ml of sour cream, 2 cloves of garlic and a small bunch of cilantro/parsley. If desired, replace the greens with dill.

Advice! Instead of ketchup and mayonnaise, use a combination of sour cream and tomato sauce homemade. Summer preparations with a small vinegar content are perfect for this.

Some people prefer to fry the shawarma on both sides. But without this process, the dish turns out more healthy.

Hearty lavash for breakfast

On a quick fix at home you can prepare hearty envelopes fried in egg. Take 2 thin tortillas and 150 g of cheese. For the filling you will need pre-boiled chicken and salt. For frying – egg, oil.

Slice the chicken, grate the cheese and mix. Place an equal amount of filling on each pita bread and form into envelopes. Pre-rectangular pita bread can be cut into strips 7 cm wide. Beat the egg with a whisk, dip the envelopes in it, and send them to fry in a hot frying pan.

The dish must be served hot, first sprinkle with dill or parsley. But even without greens, the envelopes turn out tasty and nutritious.

Lavash and spinach appetizer

A baked appetizer with mushrooms, chicken, leeks and spinach will please the gourmet’s taste buds:

  • 500 g chicken fillet;
  • 2 pcs. leeks with feathers;
  • 250 g mushrooms;
  • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil;
  • 2 tablespoons flour;
  • 2 glasses of milk;
  • 40 g butter;
  • 1 tbsp. l. French mustard;
  • 100 g spinach;
  • 8 sheets of thin pita bread;
  • 1 cup shredded cheese.
