With your own hands

Remember the fairy tale "12 months"? Such a touching story... On New Year's Eve, you really want to believe in fairy tales, and you want to give gifts that are just as magical, unforgettable, filled with warmth and tenderness. In this master class, we suggest you make your own “12 months” - a composition with sweets, which, with its tenderness and fragility, will certainly not leave anyone indifferent.

To make such a basket you will need the following materials: medium and small sized candies, corrugated paper (corrugation), hot melt glue, toothpicks, threads, Aspidistra Leaf ribbon, polysilk, New Year's twigs and beads, decorative ribbons to match the composition, basket, foam, organza , basket filler.
For snowdrops you need to choose small candies about round shape. It is desirable that the wrapper corresponds to the general color direction of the composition (that is, it is better to choose a wrapper in green, white, silver colors). Hazelnuts or chocolate-covered almonds are ideal for this. The candies must be attached with hot glue to the toothpicks by one of the tails. The free tail must be attached to the candy with tape. (Photo 1)

From each rectangle we get 1 petal. To do this, twist the paper 180 degrees in the middle, then bend it along the torsion line, placing the halves on top of each other. In the upper part, slightly squeeze the paper outward, giving the petals a convex shape. (Photo 3.4)

We attach 3 petals with threads around the base of the candy on a toothpick. (Photo 5)

Then we tape the flower stem and receptacle using a green corrugated strip, and secure the free end of the paper to the stem with hot glue or tape. Snowdrops are ready. For a medium sized basket you will need about 11 of these flowers. (Photo 6)

Now we proceed to the manufacture of other elements included in the composition. We attach pine or spruce decorative branches to toothpicks in the same way as candy. (Photo 7)

From a ribbon imitating an aspidistra leaf, we cut out thin strips in the form of leaves. We also attach these leaves to toothpicks with tape. (Photo 8)

For additional decoration and filling of the composition between the snowdrops, we will use larger round or bell-shaped candies, mounted on skewers. To give them a more decorative look, we wrap each candy with shiny film (polysilk), and tape the legs with corrugation. (Photo 9)

To fill the empty spaces, make “counters” from organza squares glued in the center to wooden skewers. (Photo 10)

After preparing all the components of the composition, it’s time to work on the basket itself. Inside the braid we place a piece of foam plastic or a floral oasis of a suitable size. It is needed to secure all the elements inside the basket. To prevent the foam from being visible through the side holes, wrap it in matching organza. (Photo 11)

Cover the top of the foam with any filler (paper, sisal fibers). (Photo 12)

We begin assembling the composition by distributing pound cakes over the surface of the basket, securing them in foam. (Photo 13)

To complete the work, decorate the handle of the basket. To do this, we wrap the handle with decorative tape along its entire length, so that the turns of the tape are positioned freely, forming a spiral. We secure the ends of the tape with a small drop of hot melt glue. Next, we glue silver beads at equal distances from each other to the surface of the handle. (Photo 15)

For greater effectiveness, we additionally decorate the places where the handles are attached to the basket with New Year’s accessories in the form of silver branches and bows made of ribbons to match the overall color range compositions. (Photo 16)

Gift ideas for the New Year

Homemade sweet basket.

A beautiful New Year's basket can bring joy to everyone. And if the recipient finds out that it was created with his own hands, then this will only please him. With our description, you will make this basket very quickly.

Using a stationery knife, cut out a cake-like piece from polystyrene foam.

Next, the base should be covered with beautiful corrugated paper or elegant fabric. Satin or floral wrapping material will work very, very well. From a material of a different color, we cut out the letters for the inscription Happy New Year, and distribute them across the entire width on the frame.

Now, using an awl or a thick needle, we make several holes in the foam and stick fir branches into them, the more, the better.

Then we take the wire and wrap it with colored ribbon of different shades, you can bend the wire into a shape. All that remains is to stick the wire into the foam base and place the candies on it. The rest of the chocolates and sweets can simply be glued to the bottom.

We still have some fir branches left undecorated. You can dress them up with cones, bows, and balls. And we make a handle for the basket, for this we again wrap the wire with a beautiful fabric and stick it into the foam.

Homemade delicious bouquet.

Here we talk about how to make flowers from candy for the New Year. Everyone will be happy to receive such a gift. First we need a rectangle cut out of cardboard, which we fold into a circle. Then, from cardboard, we cut out a round piece with the diameter of the previous piece. Now you need to put the ring on a denser base and connect everything with pieces of paper.

We cover our box with fancy paper and put cotton wool or white padding polyester on the bottom.

We put cones and candies there, which are already prepared and wrapped in gilded paper or translucent fabric, in general, beautifully packaged. If there is space left, then fill it with New Year's toys or surprises. Finally, you can insert synthetic spruce/pine branches.

Homemade sweet Christmas trees.

Bouquets of candy for the New Year 2018 look great. Moreover, such a gift will not only please the soul. It turns out it's edible. With such a bouquet you can New Year's table decorate! For the base you will need a volumetric circle and a foam tube. We cover both parts with green cloth and then stick the tube into the bottom, making sure that the structure is stable.

We make holes in the foam tube and stick spruce/pine branches into them. It should look like a Christmas tree. Now we decorate it with light sweets and candies, chocolates, toys and paper or fabric bows.

Christmas tree master class:

It's always nice to give original and beautiful gifts made with your own hands. And it’s doubly pleasant to surprise your loved ones and friends with roses, tulips or crocuses with a sweet surprise inside. Making such a present is not difficult; anyone, even a novice “florist,” can cope with such a task.

In this article we will tell you how to make New Year's bouquets from sweets with your own hands, and also reveal some secrets of decorating sweets. So bright, tasty and beautiful crafts will surprise and delight anyone.

Making creative New Year's candy bouquets with your own hands

Candy compositions are arranged in two versions: in the form of a standard bouquet and in the form of a basket. A craft made using a floral basket looks more chic and expensive, and, in addition, you can place more sweets in it. To make such a gift - a bouquet of tea roses - you will need the following materials and tools:

  • flower basket;
  • mesh material for decorating the basket;
  • candies in foil;
  • corrugated paper (cream, red);
  • watercolor paints;
  • thin tape;
  • scissors;
  • spool of thread;
  • knitting needle;
  • barbecue skewers or tree branches;
  • wooden toothpicks.

First, let's make a few. Take a roll of cream corrugated paper and cut a strip of 10 cm long from it. Now we need to make the workpiece more realistic. To do this, dilute the red one with water in a container. We wet one edge of the piece and let the paper dry.

In the meantime, let's start preparing the rose cores. We take the candy, unroll the wrapper a little and place a toothpick in the sweetness, the main thing is that the filling is not liquid. Wrap the toothpick in foil. We secure the structure with threads. Now we place a kebab skewer (or a twig) along the toothpick and secure these two parts well with tape.

Luxurious New Year's bouquets of sweets. Let's make a wonderful present with our own hands

Now let’s start decorating the core of the rose with petals: take a roll, lay it in a “stack” 4-5 cm wide and make a slit 2/3 of the way. You should get a “fence” when unrolling the roll. Using a knitting needle, twist the corners of each resulting rectangle (three in one direction, the remaining petals in the opposite direction). Gently stretch the paper in the middle of the workpiece, giving the product volume. Now we wrap the candy core into the prepared petals, slightly gathering the blank at the base of the bud. We secure the petals with threads at the base and wrap them with tape. You have a lush tea rose. The required number of flowers is produced using the same principle. After this, all that remains is to beautifully place all the roses in the basket and decorate the craft with fabric and mesh material.

These New Year's candy bouquets look great. The photo shows a gorgeous basket of flowers with a sweet surprise inside. As you can see, there are no particular technical difficulties in making such a present; the main thing is to be careful and attentive.

New Year's bouquets of sweets. Let's make a stylish composition from Rafaello with our own hands

We bring to your attention another wonderful New Year's composition - a bouquet of Rafaello sweets. It is done quite simply. To work you will need candy, foil, wire, organza, thin ribbon, corrugated paper.

Bouquet of candies: manufacturing instructions

Each candy is wrapped in foil and attached to a wire. Then small squares (20*20 cm) are cut out of organza, folded in half and wrapped around each Rafaello. It is convenient to secure the organza with a thin ribbon. The wire is decorated with foil. After this, all the flowers are collected into a bouquet, which is decorated with corrugated paper.

A bouquet of sweets is a wonderful gift for any occasion. In this master class, we invite you to create a large basket of roses from corrugated paper, assembled into an amazing New Year's composition.

To create a New Year's bouquet we will need:

  • Basket.
  • Candies of your choice (we used Korkunov candies for the blossoming roses and small candies with hazelnuts for the buds.
  • Corrugated paper in white and green.
  • Wire 0.3 mm.
  • Skewers and 1.5 mm wire for stems.
  • Floral tape - ribbon.
  • Blue organza.
  • Foam paste.
  • Various decorations to decorate the composition.

So let's get started.

Our basket will consist of white blooming roses and closed buds.

Blooming roses made of corrugated paper.

1. Make the middle of the rose. To do this, cut out 6*10 cm rectangles from white corrugated paper. Slightly round the top of the rectangles.

2. For the petals, cut out rectangles 5*7 or 6*7 cm. One rose usually takes 6-9 petals.

3. Round the top of the petals and narrow the stem. Using a knitting needle or skewer, twist the petals a little. Stretch the centers, as if forming “boats”. You should end up with petals like the photo below.

4. Prepare the wire by bending one end into a loop.

5. Now take a 6*10 cm rectangle and wrap the Korkunov candy in it, tightly wrapping the paper around it. As a result, the candy will hold tightly and will not fall out.

6. Take the wire, insert it into the resulting bud and secure it with a thin wire. The base of the rose is ready.

7. Now, wrap the petals around the bud tightly, we used 7 pieces. Here's what happened:

8. Moving on to the sepals. To do this, we cut out rectangles 7*8 cm. You can also cut 5*8, as you like. We fold them and cut out the petals. We twist the tops.

9. Attach the sepals to the rose using wire.

10. We wrap the leg with tape. To ensure that the tape adheres well to the flower, you can glue double-sided tape on top. This is the rose we ended up with.

11. Let’s finish decorating the rosette. To do this, cut out squares of approximately 20*20 cm from blue organza and beautifully wrap them around the leg, securing them with wire.

Closed rose bud made of corrugated paper.

1. Cut out 7*7.5 cm rectangles from corrugated paper. Cut out the tops in a smoothed “pique” shape.

2. Fold the “tails” of the candy and wrap it tightly in paper as in the photo below:

3. Insert a skewer and wrap the bottom corners around it, like this:

4. We wrap it with wire and the bud is ready. Please note: you don’t need to attach the candy to anything, we don’t use glue either! Everything is holding up great!

5. For the sepals, cut out 5*8 cm rectangles, cut out the petals (to the middle of the rectangle!).

6. We stretch, twist the tops, and use scissors to give some “carelessness” to the petals.

7. Attach the sepals to the bud.

8. wrap the tape with tape.

Assembling a basket for a bouquet of sweets.

1. Cut a circle out of foam plastic, wrap it in blue crepe paper and place it on the bottom of the basket. For better fixation, you can use glue.

2. We also decided to line the edges with organza.

3. We stick in 3 sheets for decoration, purchased from the Fix Price store. (by the way, you can buy many different “decorations” on this network; the balls used below were also purchased there.)

4. Now we create a composition by “sticking” roses at your discretion and completing the design of the basket, this is what we got:

The New Year is coming, and it’s time to think about gifts for loved ones, family and friends. If you are used to surprising everyone with something unusual or, on the contrary, are tired of monotonous gifts, hurry up and learn how to make other compositions from candies. They are sure to be a great surprise and will be remembered by those to whom you give them. Or maybe you want to decorate your own home with them.

Candy compositions - master class

We bring to your attention several options for candy compositions. And we will start by making a cute New Year tree, which will be decorated with sweet candies.

Christmas tree made of candies

We will need cardboard from which we roll a cone, aligning the bottom edge with scissors - the tree should stand straight. At a height of 1 cm from the bottom, glue a strip of double-sided tape, onto which we attach a layer of tinsel.

After that, glue 2 more layers of tape above. We glue small candies onto one of them, and tinsel again onto the second. We continue to alternate sweets and tinsel to the very top. As a result, we get such a wonderful Christmas tree - it will definitely delight your child.

New Year's candy clock

How to make such a composition with your own hands? First of all, you need to find a round shaped metal cookie box. Next, cut out two circles the size of a box from corrugated paper + allowances for gluing.

We glue both sides of the box in turn, and then glue a strip of wide double-sided tape along its edge. Preparing the candies: glue the tails of the candy wrappers to the candy with hot glue.

We glue the prepared candies to double-sided tape, and for better fixation we wrap the box with ribbon or New Year's beads. We decorate our watches using our imagination. Now our watch is ready. You can put them under the Christmas tree, or right on the holiday table. In any case, they will be a wonderful decoration for the New Year's holiday.

Bouquet of sweets for the New Year

This composition is very symbolic. It is called “The Twelve Months” because it represents the same basket of snowdrops from our favorite winter fairy tale.

How to make this delicious candy arrangement? Don't be afraid of difficulties: if you do everything consistently and carefully, you will succeed. So let's get started.

We choose small round candies for snowdrops. For example, it could be covered in chocolate. We attach each candy to a wooden skewer using hot glue, and glue the tip of the wrapper sticking up to the candy.

Let's move on to the most difficult part of the composition - making snowdrops. Take the white one corrugated paper, cut rectangles from it into 3 strips and 2 cm wide. We twist each rectangle in the middle and bend it along the torsion line. We put them on top of each other and give each petal a convex shape by simply stretching the paper with our fingers.

Then we attach 3 pairs of petals to each other and fasten them with thread, not forgetting to insert a toothpick with candy. We place green corrugated paper on the base of the flower and glue it with hot glue.

Let's move on to the rest of the basket items. We glue decorative spruce branches to toothpicks with hot glue. We cut out thin leaves from floral tape - an aspidistra leaf. In addition to these elements, you can add larger candies by gluing them to toothpicks. In addition, we prepare pound cakes from pieces of organza - they will add splendor to the composition and fill empty spaces.

When all the decorative elements are ready, we proceed to the basket itself. Inside it we put polystyrene foam of the required size, and to make the composition look better, we wrap the foam plastic with organza. Cover the top of the foam with sisal.
